Adding more than one calendar to Booost

Currently, you can import an external calendar into Booost by using a public calendar address in iCal format - see our guide to importing a timetable for more details.

At present, if you import a calendar in this way, it replaces any previous calendar imports, so you can only import events from one calendar. However, there is a workaround if you need to import events from more than one calendar.

Remember though, this process just imports events into your Booost calendar, it does not sync with an external calendar and so will not update if changes are made.

Adding multiple calendars

The specific steps and terminology will differ with different calendar applications, but the process will be broadly the same. Essentially you need to:

  1. Export events from the calendars that you wish to import into Booost - this will create a file for each calendar. If they are .zip files, unzip them
  2. Create a new calendar - we'll call it 'Booost import' for these instructions
  3. Use the import feature to import the calendar files created in step 1 above into the Booost import calendar (make sure you import the unzipped files)
  4. Find the public calendar address in iCal format (details for this are here)
  5. Paste the link into the Calendar URL field in the Booost import timetable screen
