Connected calendar options

When connecting a calendar to the Booost app, you will be asked to specify whether it is an academic or a personal calendar. That's because in Booost, different types of events are linked to different checklists and related resources in the app.

Academic calendar type

So, if you choose the academic calendar option when connecting a calendar, all events within the calendar that you are connecting will be assigned the 'lesson' event type. The checklist related to attending a lesson, class or lecture will be shown when viewing these events, and the related resources will be those related to attending a lesson.

Personal calendar type

If, however, you choose the personal calendar option when connecting a calendar, all events within the calendar that you are connecting will be assigned the 'social or personal' event type. Because these could be anything, there is no pre-defined checklist linked to each event (you can though add your own) and the related resources are more general guides.

In summary

With Booost, you can add more than one calendar in the app to have your academic, personal, and work calendars in one place. Through the connected calendar section under ‘Account’ you can add, remove, and manage multiple calendars.
