Routines

Booost lets you create routines for an activity or group of activities that you want to cary out on a regular basis. We've created two to get you started - a routine to 'Start the day strong' and one to help 'Wind down'. You can choose to add one of these into your calendar as follows:

Adding a suggested routine

  1. From the Booost calendar, tap on the '+' button at the top of the screen (mobile app) or the '+ Add event' button (web app)
  2. Tap or click 'Add routine'
  3. Tap or click on either 'Start the day strong' or 'Wind down'
  4. Set the date and time that you wish the routine to start
  5. Set how frequently you wish to carry out the routine 
  6. Set a location if relevant
  7. Tap or click 'Continue'
  8. Add Notes and specify Reminders if you wish
  9. View the steps of the routine in the Checklist - these can be added to or edited like any other checklist (not sure how - see our Event checklists article listed at the bottom of the page)
  10. Tap or click 'Done'

Creating a new routine

  1. Carry out steps 1 and 2 as above
  2. Tap or click the 'Create new routine' button
  3. Tap or click the Routine card
  4. Add a title, set the date to start the routine and the time that you want to start and finish it
  5. Set how frequently you wish to carry out the routine 
  6. Set a location if relevant
  7. You can also edit the routine icon and colour if you like
  8. Tap or click ‘Continue’
  9. Add Notes and specify Reminders if you wish
  10. Now tap or click 'Add checklist item' to add each step of your routine
  11. Add in a duration if you wish - note, the duration of each checklist item should not exceed how much time you have allocated to complete the routine in
  12. Tap or click ‘Add’
  13. Repeat steps 10 and 11 to add as many checklist items as you need to build your routine
  14. Tap or click 'Done'
