Reach out settings

Booost's Reach out feature provides a quick way to contact one or more friends or family members when you need their help. It lets you create a group of contacts and to set a message to send them. The idea is to make it as easy as possible to get some help when you may be struggling. For more information about using the feature please refer to our Reach out article listed at the bottom of the page.

Because this feature sends an SMS message, it can only be accessed on the mobile app.

To create a group of contacts to Reach out to

1. From the mobile or web app, click on the Account icon
2. Click ‘Reach out settings’
3. Click ‘+ Add contact'
4. This will open a list of your contacts - tap to select any that you wish to add to your Reach out list
5. Tap on +' next to the mobile number that is displayed for that contact
6. Tap on the back arrow to return to the Contacts List
7. Repeat step 5 to add more contacts if you'd like
8. Tap on the back arrow when you have added everyone you want to add to the list
9. Tap on the 'Save' button

Creating or editing the default message

1. Access the Reach out settings as above
2. Scroll down to the Default message section - we have added a suggested message to us, but you can change this
3. Tap in the message window and change the message as needed
4. Click on the 'Save' button
