Carrying out a review

Reviews are scheduled according to the scheduling option you have selected for a collection. The next suggested review date is then displayed in the Your Collections screen so you can see when next to carry out a review

When a review is due, you then just click on the Start Review button.

Alternatively, you can start a review at any time, regardless of the schedule that you have set. From the Your Collections screen, click on a collection card and then click the Review All button:

Once you have started a review, you will be presented with each of the flashcards in turn. You will see the question side of the flashcard first and then, when you are ready, click the Reveal button to show the answer:

Once you have seen the answer you can then rate your confidence:

• Select 1 star if you got the question wrong (or just had a lucky guess and got it right)
• Select 2 stars if you got it right but weren’t totally confident
• Select 3 stars if you got it right and were absolutely confident

Once you have rated your confidence, Luna will display the next question and the process repeats until all cards in that review have been seen.

At the end of the review you will then see how well you did with a break down of how many cards you scored for each confidence rating

Luna then calculates an overall collection confidence rating based on how well you did in this and any previous reviews. There are 5 confidence levels, with 5 the highest - once you get to that level you have pretty much mastered all the cards in that collection.

If during the review you scored a card with 1 star (i.e. you got the question wrong or just had a lucky guess and got it right), you will have the option to retake those cards - just click or tap the Retake link. Otherwise tap or click Complete and the review is done.
