Adding an event

To add a new calendar event

This article is for adding a one-off event to the calendar in Booost. If you are looking for information about importing a timetable, click here to open the relevant article

Adding a new calendar event using the mobile app:

  1. Tap on the calendar icon or tap the 'Your calendar' panel on the home screen
  2. Tap on the + button at the top of the screen
  3. Tap 'Add event' (see our article about Routines inked at the bottom of the page if you want to add a routine)
  4. Tap to choose an event type - this allows the most relevant checklists and related resources to be displayed 
  5. Add in a title
  6. Set the date and time
  7. Tap to select when the event repeats (optional)
  8. Add a location (optional)
  9. You can also customise the event by tapping the pencil next to the event icon to select a different icon, and using the colour options to change the event colour
  10. Tap 'Continue'
  11. Use the Notes toggle switch to select if you want to add any notes
  12. Use the Reminders toggle switch to add one or two reminders for the event (check our Notifications article inked at the bottom of the page to make sure you get the reminders)
  13. Use the Checklist toggle switch to turn the suggested checklist on or off (want to edit the Checklist - see our Checklist article linked at the bottom of the page)
  14. Tap 'Done'
  15. The event will now be listed in your calendar and will appear on your home screen when it starts

Adding a new calendar event using the web app:

  1. Click on the calendar menu item or click on the 'Your calendar' panel on the home screen
  2. Click on the '+ Add event' button
  3. Click 'Add event' (see our article about Routines inked at the bottom of the page if you want to add a routine)
  4. Click to choose an event type - this allows the most relevant checklists and related resources to be displayed 
  5. Add in a title
  6. Set the date and time
  7. Click to select when the event repeats (optional)
  8. Add a location (optional)
